Dad was driving home when we were greeted beside the carpark by the sight of some construction workers scrubbing the road. They were already doing that when we left the house in the evening cause i tink they were repairing the road or something la. but my mom who left the house in e morning prob didnt see it.
Mom: "wah! what are they doing?"
Me: "Orh you duno meh? Someone commited suicude just now. i think they cleaning up the scene now."
and note that i said it with such nonchalance. my dad and my brother just sat there silently.
Mom: "huh! really ah? u mean they cleaning up the blood stains? aiyoh! why they commit suicide?"
i burst out into laughter! hahhahahahahaha my mom is how super gullible!

when we were driving to my grannys house earlier in e evening, my mom checked her reflection in the rear view mirror and started saying. " aiyoh tmr must dye my hair again lei." i was like huh! but u juts dyed it last week! den she proceeded to say how my dad din dye it properly. and she demostrated how to dye it properly such that all her white hair gets properly dyed. like how to hold the hair. how to put the dye. how to position everything else INTO THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. so that my dad can see.
Me: Eh u tink papa can see u demonstrate ur skills now ah? HES DRIVING LEI.
and she just looked away in embarassment. and started rambling again. hahahahhaa
